People360 was graciously invited by the Association of Safety Practitioners of the Philippines, Inc. (ASPPI) in its tree-planting program last September 29, at the La Mesa Nature Reserve in Quezon City. Together with EEI Corporation, the activity was an initiative of the ASPPI organization in support of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) program for its community. This year’s theme is titled “Nasa Ating mga Kamay, ang Pangangalaga kay Inang Kalikasan”. Environmental awareness, being one of People360’s advocacy and part of its Environment, Safety and Health program as well, is an integral part in raising consciousness in man’s responsibility to his only home.
The activity was eagerly participated in by 30 of the “environmental stewards” of People360. All the participants did not seem to mind the heat and the trek to the tree-planting site, as they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the camaraderie, and knowing that they have contributed in helping our environment.
