MANILA, 18 January 2012 - People360 Consulting Corporation gained an important milestone recently with the release of its final accreditation as a "Testing Organization for Heavy Equipment" last January 16, 2012 by the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) of the Philippines.
For the accreditation to be final, People360 underwent a series of evaluation made by the BWC which checked for completeness of staff complement and equipment and tools available for inspection. BWC required that a testing organization like People360 have both accredited Safety Consultants and Practitioners in its employ.
However, aside from the legal requirements set by law, People360 evaluates results of its tests based on the conformity of the equipment with both the Codes of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineer (PSME) and American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME) and other international standards. It has also standardized its testing procedures and uses comprehensive checklists to record its findings. It also makes sure to provide detailed and comprehensive reports to assist the requesting company make the necessary corrections. The results of the tests are also discussed with the client, and an orientation cum training provided the operators and other workers involved with the equipment or tools tested.
The Accreditation Certificate ( No. 1410-11011612-0056) of People360 as a "Testing Organization for Construction Heavy Equipment" is valid until January 16, 2015. It allows the company to conduct safety inspection / testing and certification of heavy equipment in construction sites pursuant to Section 10 of Department Order No. 13, "Guidelines Governing Occupational Safety and Health" in the Construction Industry in the Philippines. Atty. Lourdes M. Trasmonte, Undersecretary - Workers' Protection and Welfare Cluster of the DOLE, signed the certificate.
